ELLE Magazine to launch dating site

ELLE, the world’s largest fashion magazine brand, today announced its online dating debut with the launch of ELLE Dating, powered by HowAboutWe.com.

ELLE Dating members will also enjoy exclusive access to one-on-one matchmaking services from the magazine’s long-time relationship expert E. Jean Carroll, author of Ask E. Jean, the longest-running advice column in American publishing. The ELLE Dating matchmaking service will include a subscription plan for two dates per month; personal matchmaking with E. Jean Carroll; phone consultation and dating feedback; date planning and ongoing dialogue with matchmakers.

“We’re excited to partner with HowAboutWe to help our readers discover the relationships they want,” said Robbie Myers, editor in chief, ELLE. The co-branded experience will live inside ELLE.com, making it easy for users to move between its editorial content and ELLE Dating. The site will be populated with dating-focused editorial content, providing contextual relevancy for promotion of the new feature. ELLE Dating will also be promoted across the brand’s many platforms including print, digital, tablet, and social media. Marketers will have the opportunity to sponsor content and other features available through ELLE Dating.
